Warwickshire went town literally on Oxfordshire in their recent clash at the Royal British Legion Club in Bicester. Both Counties were missing many players on the weekend but the Bears stood up to that challenge and came away with a convincing victory of 24-12.
Ladies B fought out a 3-3 draw but could have had more of the spoils had it not been for elusive doubles, Wendy Adams marking a return to the form we know she is capable of with the Ladies award of 19.30.
Mens B held off some challenges to record a superb 8-4 win with some great games on the day. Mark Archer also returning his natural game to take the Mens Award 25.69.
Ladies A faced a difficult side but also took a 3 – 3 draw with Sue Gulliver winning 3 straight legs and the Ladies award of 21.78.
Mens A only lost two games on the weekend smashing home a super 10-2 win with Ian McFarlane playing a great game to take the award with 28.92.
Warwickshire next face the challenge of Cheshire who will once again be a very tough challenge but the Bears will be more than up for it after that last win.
