The Bears came out on top in a tense fixture with their counterparts from Wales.
Ladies B took a well deserved 3 3 draw with wins from Wendy Adams, Melanie Jones and a LOM from Rosie O Connor with a 18.53 winning average. This was also a milestone for Caroline Pike who achieved her 200th County appearance for Warwickshire, Caroline is the fourth player within the County to achieve 200. Well Done Caroline. Mens B took a great 7-5 win with both teams achieving the Highest Team averages of the season in the Premier Division B tables. Wins from Mark Strong, Matty Washbrooke, Wayne Mynard, Jack Wareing, Karl Reynolds Carl Green and a 30.36 MOM from James Hykin. Ladies A also had a 3 3 in a great battle, wins from Natalie Gilbert, Nina Bolt and a LOM from Tammy Montgomery which was also the highest ladies Average of 24.44 in the Premier Division. Mens A were up against a tough side with many having International experience, it eventually turned out a 6 6 draw with wins from Tommy Aldridge, Dean Stewart, Nigel Heydon, Noel Grant, Steve Hine and a MOM 31.31 from Ian McFarlane. A very good weekend of darts with full respects being held for Ceri Morgan who sadly passed away on Friday. Next up for the Bears is another home tie against Hampshire on 28-29th March.
